I’ve been attending Indian Market since I was very young, and I always feel like I’ve learned something new, been taught something valuable, simply by walking through and talking with various artisans. - Shanan Campbell Wells

Shanan Campbell Wells, owner of Sorrel Sky Gallery, shares her thoughts about Indian Market. “Indian Market has been happening for over nine and a half decades, and it continues to gain national and international attention. The authenticity of the artwork, the sense of history and culture, it’s truly a must-see event for visitors and collectors. I’ve been attending since I was very young, and I always feel like I’ve learned something new, been taught something valuable, simply by walking through and talking with various artisans. I’m so proud of the Native American artists that we represent at the gallery, as well as all the other participants … each with a voice, a vision, each sharing a piece of themselves.”
