Anthony Tallboy is one of few male weavers in a mainly matriarchal arts and crafts form, a Navajo tradition. Tallboy is also a Medicine Man and preforms ceremonies to help his people bring harmony and balance to their lives. Anthony comes from the Ganado, AZ area known for the rich red weavings called "Ganado Red". This vibrant rug has shades of grey that are accented with white and black that vibrate in the red field.
