Sari Etwining her own life philosophy with the lore of the Native American culture, Staggs' portraits are immediately recognizable with their unique perspective and saturated colors.
Staggs studied at El Camino College, UCLA, and Otis Parsons Art Institute. Her paintings are steeped in the lore of the Native American culture, as she has allowed her own life philosophy to become entwined with theirs. From her studio in downtown Los Angeles she has spent years representing the Native American people, their dwelling places and artifacts, often with a unique perspective.
