Although the subjects are frozen, there is still movement throughout the painting. They are frozen not as stagnant objects, but rather captured, interpreted and enveloped in the landscape.
b.1941 - Waddle sees himself as a cattle rancher and an artist. He studied at Brooklyn Museum Art School; Eastern Montana College; Wayne State University, Detroit (MFA, 1968). From his studios in Montana and Idaho his diverse approach, style, and technique, he creates expressionist animal and landscape painting, as well as sculpture.
