Crow Men & Women - represents traditional regalia of the Crow Indian People. Annually in August, the Crow People hold a powwow gathering called the Crow Fair where Crow People wear their finest and most valued traditional dancing regalia. The elk tooth dresses represent great wealth of the woman husband and signifies a great hunter. The men are wearing porcupine roaches on their heads. Both men and women dancers are wearing otter pelt wraps on their braids. The intricate beadwork designs exhibits the artistry of the Crow and is depicted on the men?s arm bands, cuffs and belts and on the woman?s belts, leggings and moccasins.
