Happy Hen

Bronze, 12" x 14" x 8 hen and approx. 3" x 2" chicks

Sculptured in honor of the locally famous chicken “Speckles” that raised many broods of chicks at the nearby farm, James Ranch. She quickly became the most beloved chicken for her amazing skills; hatching and nurturing countless chicks, seemingly most happy when surrounded by the chaos of her new fuzzy cheeping brood.
