This is an image of two ranch horses taken at a ranch near Dubois, Wyoming not far from Jackson Hole. The horses were running around in a large outdoor arena. I shot about 3500 frames that afternoon, and this was the ONE shot where it all came together, and they were side by side and in perfect symmetry, their legs in exactly the same position. This is one of those images that is very difficult to capture. I converted it to black and white because I felt it was stronger and more dramatic. And I worked very hard to darken the background to eliminate a lot of distractions.
