Blazing

“Blazing” was photographed while I was conducting a photo workshop in the beautiful Cappadocia region in central Turkey. This was taken at a stable as the very first rays of morning light came over the hills. I positioned myself to take advantage of the fine dust, and having the light coming from almost in front of the horses, giving the image a fiery drama. This region of Turkey I known for its unique rock formations, and the word Cappadocia actually translates to “the land of beautiful horses”.
