Frank Stilwell was associated with the outlaw band of cowboys in the Tombstone area in the 1880's.  With the murder of Morgan Earp, (March, 1882) Wyatt Earp went on the trail of the men he suspected of being Morgan's killers.  It was in the Tucson train station that Wyatt and his posse stumbled on Stilwell and Earp blasted him with a shotgun and thens ent several bullets into Frank's body just to make sure he was dead.  The next morning they found Stilwell's body on the train tracks and one observer said that he was the most shot up man he had ever seen.

In both of the movies "Tombstone" and "Wyatt Earp" Stilwell gets his few seconds of fame when he is killed by Wyatt Earp (Kurt Russell and Kevin Costner) at the Tucson train station.

Today the train station itself has been moved but near where the old one once stood they have set up two bronze figures, Wyatt Earp and Doc Holliday, to commemorate the killing of Stilwell.

The attached images shows the two bronze figures.
