David Yarrow One Man Show at Sorrel Sky Gallery Durango

Sorrel Sky Gallery is hosting a One-Man show at 828 Main Avenue, Durango, CO, on February 26, 2025, from 5 to 8 p.m., featuring the unconventional, unparalleled, unforgettable work of photographer David Yarrow. Yarrow will discuss his most recent images shot in Yellowstone and the Tetons and potentially unveil a shot from the Durango area. Sorrel Sky Gallery is the premier provider of Yarrow’s work, with over 100 large-scale, high-impact photographs available across our three galleries.

For Yarrow, a photographic tableau is about capturing the raw essence of America's most iconic wilderness. His recent works from Yellowstone and the Tetons showcase the dramatic landscapes and wildlife that define the American West. These new images will be featured alongside some of Yarrow's most sought-after works including up-close wildlife shots, The Wild West series, and scenes with international sports heroes, supermodels, and celebrities.

David Yarrow

Born in Glasgow, Scotland, David Yarrow took up photography at an early age and as a 20-year-old found himself working as a photographer for The London Times on the pitch at the World Cup Final in Mexico City, one of numerous sporting events David covered as a press photographer. However, after University, David went into banking and then launched a hedge fund–an industry he spent many years in. In 2014, he sold the fund to return to photography, his lifelong passion. Today, David Yarrow is one of the best-selling photographers in the world. His work includes wildlife and visual storytelling, setting a scene, creating or recreating an atmosphere, and often shooting against the light.
