Sorrel Sky Gallery presents vintage pieces alongside new Nighthorse designs during Native American Heritage Month
SANTA FE, N.M., [October 8, 2026]. Collectors can acquire vintage jewelry by Ben Nighthorse Campbell, alongside new designs from the line he founded, at a Nighthorse Jewelry trunk show at Sorrel Sky Gallery on Friday, Nov. 6, from 5–7 p.m., 125 W. Palace Ave. The evening falls during Native American Heritage Month, in the line’s first season since Campbell’s passing in December 2025 at age 92.
The trunk show brings two chapters of Nighthorse together in one place: vintage pieces from Campbell’s decades of work and new designs developed under Creative Director Luke Longfellow, a GIA Graduate Gemologist. The collection features 18k gold and platinum set with diamonds, fine gemstones, and the finest Sleeping Beauty turquoise. Longfellow will be on hand to talk with guests about the stones, the designs, and the family story behind them.
“My dad made jewelry to be worn and lived in, not kept in a drawer,” said Shanan Campbell, owner of Sorrel Sky Gallery and steward of the Nighthorse legacy. “These vintage pieces are ready for their next chapter. Seeing them beside the new work shows how far his vision carries, and Luke is the right person to share that story.”
“Every piece of Nighthorse is inspired by one of Grandpa’s original designs,” said Longfellow. “Nighthorse is about craft, culture and family, and a trunk show lets people see all three up close.”
The new Nighthorse line pairs traditional metalsmithing with contemporary production methods, allowing the studio to hold Campbell’s exacting standard across both one-of-a-kind pieces and signature designs.
The Santa Fe evening follows Nighthorse trunk shows at Nordstrom stores in Utah, Dallas, and Denver this fall and will be followed by NYCJW26 with an event at Sorrel Sky Gallery in SoHo.
