That cute little Coppertone Kid played a role in the hundreds of hours I spent at the swimming pool when I was a kid, slathering on suntan lotion, doing cannonballs, and diving for pennies. Yep, I had a tan line, too. I added a New Mexico touch. And I painted the brushes and other art tools to give you an idea what a painting looks like while I'm painting. Sort of a painting of a painting in progress. The splatters, drips, circles, and drops are just for fun.
