“I feel passionate about creating a new and unique style to share with the world.” — Jacqueline Inez
Born in Montreal, Quebec, and raised in Guelph, Ontario, Jacqueline's artistic journey has been shaped by her diverse experiences and travels. Summers spent abroad visiting family in Portugal, France, and the US, touring through Western Europe, and living and working in Lincoln, England, have left an indelible mark on her creative vision.
While pursuing a degree in History at Ryerson University, Jacqueline's focus shifted to the Arts, Museum/Art Gallery Management, and Curation. In her spare time, she began to experiment with graphic design, digital illustration, and painting, drawing inspiration from her encounters with architecture, nature, landscapes, and people during her travels.
Today, Jacqueline's vibrant and structured compositions showcase her bold color palette, subtle blending techniques, and diverse range of subjects. Rather than direct representation, her work seeks to capture the essence and energy of her subjects in a colorful and graphic manner. Following in the footsteps of the artistic women in her family who have inspired her from a young age, Jacqueline has transformed her passion for creativity into a dedicated practice.
