“Nampeyo’s Blessings”
In the early 1880’s legendary
Hopi potter Nampeyo began
crafting magnificent vessels
using earlier Sikyatki designs
found on the pot sherds from
nearby archeological digs.
Her work, spanning 30+
years, inspired a pottery
revival that has blessed her
tribe and her many
descendants to this day.
