“The Crow were always scouting … looking for their next camp that was suitable for the people, their horse, with water, near a good hunting ground but that wouldn’t box them in. Everyone had a role in this. The woman would want to be close to water and the scouts took this into account. The young boys would be assigned to watch the horse and learn vigilance and strength.
