This is an image of a “Merens” stallion. The Merens horses are indigenous to the Pyrenees region of southern France. This is a Merens stallion that was loose in the forest and running like a wild horse. I darkened the background and really worked with contrast to really bring out the strength and power of this horse. He was aptly named “Thor.” He was a beautiful young stallion who unfortunately died at a very young age due to a heart condition.
