Road to Chama
b.1931- Wright graduated from Yale Music and Art School, Albright Art School and the Brooklyn Museum School. He creates landscapes, abstracts, and figures in oil, acrylic and watercolor from his studio in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Although he suffered a stroke in 1998, which left him legally blind in one eye, he is still actively painting new works.
Powerful, visually seductive and lyrical, this interpretation of the Road to Chama draws the viewer in.
