Thor II

This was photographed in southern France. This is a “Merens” horse, a breed that is indigenous to the Pyrenees region of France. This is a stallion named “Thor”, named after the Norse God. He was running through a forest, and I positioned myself so the sunlight reflected off his shiny coat and the background was a row of trees in deep shadow. I carefully edited the image to make the background completely black, for added drama and contrast.
